Wilson Bay Lodge is home to a cluster of six-person cabins on scenic Lost Land Lake. Each of these traditional-style family cabins has lake frontage and a small yard made private by tall trees. The resort is quiet and secluded, with calm waters and carefully maintained seasonal landscaping. Each lakefront cabin is equipped with a modern kitchen and plumbing, air conditioning and DISH TV. The kitchens include all the necessary appliances — a full-sized refrigerator, a gas range, a microwave, a coffee maker and a toaster — as well as dinnerware, cookware and utensils. The cabin interiors maintain a wooded feel, with knotted pine paneling and large picture windows. Each cabin boasts a screen porch, perfect for enjoying the cool night air while keeping the bugs at bay.
Wilson Bay Lodge enjoys a uniquely beautiful, panoramic view of Lost Land Lake, with the cabins looking out across the water and ideally situated to take advantage of the vibrant sunsets. The property leading up to the shore is level and sandy, perfect for swimming and sunning during the warmer months. The swimming area has no sudden drop-offs, making it safer for children to wade and chase minnows in the sun-warmed shallows. Guests will love the shared resort amenities, including badminton, croquet, horseshoes and volleyball courts. Outdoor dining spaces are also provided, including outdoor grills and picnic tables.
Sleeping arrangements: Each family cabin at Wilson Bay Lodge offers one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and second bedroom with 2 twins. The bedrooms are large and furnished with ample closet space. There is also a hide-a-bed in the living room, allowing each cabin to accommodate up to six overnight guests.
A trip to Wilson Bay Lodge is more than just a sleepover in a quaint Wisconsin cabin. Rentals at this inclusive resort come with a 14-foot Alumacraft fishing boat, tied in at the private dock in front of your cabin and ready to spend the day exploring Lost Land Lake. This three-mile-by 1 ¾-mile inland freshwater lake is naturally fed by four separate streams and has a maximum depth of 25 feet. Lost Land Lake also connects to Teal Lake by way of a scenic, navigable channel. These two no-wake lakes are perfect for fishing and quiet reflection on the water, with no water skiing or towing of any kind.
Besides swimming, fishing, boating, playing cards on the screen porch, cooking around the fire, engaging in the community sports and activities and enjoying the lake view — as if there needs to be more — Wilson Bay Lodge is also located near public hunting land where visitors can try their luck during partridge bow and arrow season. Autumn in Hayward, Wisconsin is worth the trip, no matter how far you’re traveling. The colors reflected in the smooth surface of the lake are truly a sight to see.
The surrounding area is also home to several scenic golf courses, tennis courts, water ski shows, horseback riding trails, barn dances and many unique restaurants. Guests to a Wilson Bay Lodge cabin are only 50 miles from excellent trout fishing at the Apostle Island National Park.
Things to Remember: Guests will need to please bring their own towels — bed linens are provided in the cabins.

One of the most beautiful and well-kept resorts we have ever stayed at. Very quiet and picturesque. Cabins are on level ground and about 30 feet to your private pier. Lost Land Lake has some great fishing; especially croppy. The owners are very social and friendly; willing to help with any needs. Great location for a peaceful vacation. Karen Fischer Vogelsberg
It’s perfect vacation spot. Will be back again next summer. Julie Greiner Smith
