The Menominee is a comfortable 3 bedroom on Big St. Germain lake. It features large lakeside windows for a great view. It is right on the lake with your own pier. We have a sandy beach area for swimming and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fire pit. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.
Unique Features
The cabin has a screened in porch for relaxing without the bugs. There is a full kitchen with all necessary dishes and cooking utensils. We have cable television and a dvd player. There are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms and the living room. The 3 bedrooms offer 2 queen and 2 twin beds. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom has a shower & plenty of hot water! Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We have lots of room for trailer parking right by your cabin.
Things To Do
You have access to the resort grounds and your own private pier with a bench. You can enjoy the lake with over 1600 acres and a small island with a sand bar. There are 2 other small lakes that connect to Big St. Germain that you can access. There are also 3 bar/restaurants on the lake. There are miles of snowmobile, atv & bicycle trails in every direction right outside you door. There are also numerous cross country ski, snowshoeing and hiking trails in the area. Ice fishing is available right in front of your cabin. We offer fishing boat, canoe, kayak, paddle boat & pontoon rentals. There is a game room, volleyball/badminton court, swing set, horse shoes & tether ball. We have a screened in fish cleaning house for you to use.
A 14-foot aluminum boat is available to rent for $20/day or $50/week.
A 15hp motor can be added for $50/day or $150/week.
A pontoon boat with a 40hp motor is available for $175/day or $800/week.
A 16-foot deluxe fishing boat runs $125/day or $650/week.
Twin Waters Rentals also keeps canoes, paddle boats, paddle boards or kayaks, each available for $20/day or $50/week.

Place was plenty big for our crew but tight with gear. But Kelley was great checking in on us. Pets had plenty of room for running. Definitely stay again.
Nice and relaxing stay in the cabin. Nice area and restaurants. Fun for our dogs too who loved going swimming in the lake.

The cabin was very close to the waterfront. Also the cabin was clean and very comfortable.

Very clean and cozy cabin right tight to the water. 4 of us stayed in the Menominee for a week for ice fishing and couldnt have been more pleased. Everything that we could possibly need or want was provided with our weekly rate. Towels and linens were plentiful as well as any kitchen utencils. If we needed it we had it. From making a simple breakfast to baking a complex casserole there was no shortage of items to use. Kelly was super friendly and accomidating as we had to swap our week somewhat short notice and he worked with us without hesitation what so ever. He also borrowed us his personal gas can for us to refill our sleds with gas because we ran low and we had no clue how to take them into town for fuel because we were simply there for ice fishing. There are plenty of local places to visit for food and cocktails. Our favorites were Fibber's which is just up the road (Friday fish fry was amazing...especially the perch) and Sayner Pub was another good place for dinner. I'm certain there are others with great food but we couldnt hit them all. I would recommend this resort to everybody. We were pleasently suprised as soon as we opened the door. The large enclosed porch was also a bonus to keep our fishing gear and wet clothing. The large windows facing the lake were awesome to just sit back in the warm cabin and watch our tip-ups and suck ice cold beer! We plan on returning next year for another week!
