Perched proudly at the edge of Mosbaek Lake, this vacation home is newly remodeled and offers open, airy views of the surrounding green spaces. It is completely private, making it the perfect rental property for a large group looking to get away from the rest of the world completely.
Much of the vacation home’s interior is decorated with tasteful pale blues and greens, giving it an elegant and open feeling that brings to mind the decor of an old fashioned castle while also being warm and welcoming. With arching windows, a sectional couch, and a gas fireplace, the living room in this vacation home has everything you need to relax after a long day out exploring. With its sleek counters and stainless steel appliances, the kitchen is also a great place to spend your evening making any of the food that you normally would at home. The lake house also has a dining room and a sunroom, allowing for plenty of space to spread out within your group.
The vacation home sleeps a total of 16, with five bedrooms. Beds consist of three kings, three queens, a queen sleeper sofa, and a futon. There are also four bathrooms.
Completing the castle-like feeling of this vacation home is its tower and circular tower room at the top of the home. Visitors can head to the wood-paneled room in the evening and use the telescope to get a good view of the stars. Or, sip coffee at sunrise and watch the world wake up around you. This unique architectural feature will leave you feeling in awe.
Visitors to Mosbaek Lake Lodge will find that they can occupy their time for hours without leaving the 40 acre property. There are walking paths woven throughout the area and plenty of fishing opportunities at the lake. Visitors can also go out on the pontoon boat, canoe, or rowboat to explore the water. Finally, the outdoor deck with the covered bar allows the opportunity to experience nature with the luxury of shelter from the elements!
If you wish to venture out into the greater area, however, there are plenty of other opportunities to enjoy in Hayward, as well. Hiking opportunities abound at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. And visitors at a certain time of year can enjoy skiing and other winter sports. Finally, there are a variety of festivals held throughout the year that are geared towards the nature lover or sports enthusiast: Head to the Lumberjack World Championships at the end of July for a kid-friendly and unique athletic event. Or, enjoy the Chequamegon Mountain Bike Festival in mid-September.
Whenever you are here, you won’t be short of options for dining and drinks: The Tavern at White Stag Farm is always an enjoyable visit. Or, head to Northwoods Burgers and Fries for some great comfort food with the kids. Regardless of how you like to spend your time, we are sure that there will be something here for you!
