Come stay with us in this cabin on a lake, and experience the peace of being shrouded by greenery and cool, clear water. Visitors can watch pink and gold streaked skies as the sun goes down over the lake, right in front of their own front deck. Or, enjoy a sun-baked afternoon swimming, fishing, and generally enjoying the water with friends or family. You can also bring your dog to enjoy the trip with you!
This cheerful, efficient vacation home comes with a variety of kitchen amenities. In addition to the usual microwave, coffee maker, oven/stove, and refrigerator, there is also a sandwich maker, griddle, and waffle iron. If you’re lucky, you may even be able to catch something worth eating in the lake and prepare it for dinner that evening. The cabin also includes a living area with big windows, plenty of seating, and a TV; it’s well-equipped for you to just relax around the house for a while, if that’s what you choose to do.
The vacation home has three bedrooms. There are two queen-sized beds, and one bunk bed, with a top and bottom bunk available for visitors. There is one bathroom. The home is the perfect size for a family vacation or for a small friend group to stay in.
One of the best things about staying at this vacation home is that it is very private, with your own pier, and a peaceful peninsula to enjoy. Whether you want to go swimming, fishing, or just sun yourself out in the yard, you can rest assured that your stay will be a tranquil one, with relative privacy from other homes.
The broader area of Hayward, Wisconsin offers a lot in terms of outdoor activities. In the fall and winter months, there are opportunities for ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and more. Enjoy the spectacular, fiery beauty of Wisconsin’s fall leaves, or the serene splendor of a January snow. Go hunting or fat-tire biking to truly immerse yourself in the natural environment.
In the summer, of course, there is swimming, hiking, ATV trails, and more. The American Birkebeiner trail is always a good option to go for a walk and get out and about. Or, head to Library Nature park for a short and easy walking path.
Hayward’s offerings are not solely limited to the great outdoors, however. Out Of The Woods Winery offers good quality wine, cider, and mead for you to taste. Head to Two Sisters Boutique or one of several other shops for a souvenir to bring back with you. Enjoy good comfort food at Pat’s Landing, or stop for a snack and coffee at Backroads Coffee & Tea. Make your stay a great one by spending your days surrounded by greenery and your evenings enjoying a good meal or drink. We look forward to hosting you!
