Hayward Heaven is a large, modern rental with 138 feet of private shoreline on the Chippewa Flowage. With five separate bedrooms and three full baths, this spacious cabin is perfect for a large group gathering at any time of year. A flat, grassy lawn leads to a narrow swath of private beach, with a stone fire pit and a picnic table set close to the water. The property is located at the culmination of a low-traffic, dead-end road and hedged in by mature trees.
Inside, the main level is comprised of a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of counter space, and a cozy, wood-paneled living room with exposed timber beams, a wood-burning stone fireplace, a large-screen TV and comfortable reading chairs. The upper level opens to a balcony on the lake-facing side that overlooks the property, and a second living area on the lower level features an additional stone fire place, with walk-out sliding glass doors.
Sleeping Arrangements: Hayward Heaven’s five bedrooms are equipped with a king-sized bed, two queens, one full, two twins, and a set of bunkbeds with a twin on top and a full on bottom. This cabin also offers sleeping space on a rollaway bed and a twin-sized sofa sleeper.
NOTE: Towels are not provided at this property.
Hayward Heaven has access to two privately owned docks on the Chippewa Flowage, home of the current musky fishing world-record holder. The Chippewa Flowage, or the “Big Chip,” covers 14,593 acres, at depths of up to 92 feet. Along with world-famous musky the Big Chip is home to pan fish, crappie, large and smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, catfish and sturgeon.
Hayward Heaven’s docks, level, sandy frontage and sunny lake-facing balcony make it the perfect place to enjoy all that the lake has to offer.
