This spacious vacation home is the perfect place for an extended family reunion where you can make memories to last a lifetime. Located right on Lake Nokomis and surrounded by greenery, the vacation home gives a true ‘cabin in the woods’ feeling without sacrificing modernity or size.
The getaway feels almost like a resort unto itself, with features that include an indoor ‘sports barn’ for running around and playing basketball; a living room with a breathtaking view of the lake through vast, sloping windows; and a private firepit in the backyard. Visitors of course have access to a fully equipped kitchen with island seating, as well as a dining area. There is also a bar, along with a living room that is complete with a gas fireplace. Other amenities include WiFi and a TV, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on your favorite show or on updating your social media with all of the details of your exciting trip.
The vacation home has six bedrooms. There are a total of five queen-sized beds, one king, and three singles; linens are of course provided, and there is a washer and dryer. There are three bathrooms on the premises.
Unique Features
Perhaps the most incredible feature of this vacation home is the lake itself! Head out to the beach and soak up some summer sun. Or, in the winter, go for a brisk walk around the shore and get your blood flowing! The lake is of course great for swimming, depending on the weather and water levels when you end up coming. You could also head out in one of our kayaks or on one of our paddle boards.

Things To Do
Visitors to Tomahawk, Wisconsin will find a variety of exciting outdoor activities in which they can participate. In the spring and summer, go biking, hiking, or golfing with the family. During the colder months, you can be sure to enjoy snowshoeing, downhill skiing, or cross country skiing. Keep an eye out for wildlife of all kinds, from white-tailed deer and beavers to our more cold-blooded friends: snakes and turtles. Furthermore, those in your group who enjoy fishing will find that they will have many places to try their hand at catching dinner!
Finally, if wheels and speed are more your style than leisurely saunters through the woods, you will be relieved to find that Tomahawk has some good ATV trails where you can enjoy the wind rushing past you as you explore the scenery. Many motorcyclists also flock to this area, so if that is something you enjoy, you won’t be alone.
Despite the endless opportunities to spend time ‘roughing it’, Tomahawk also has many opportunities to go out to eat and spend time in town. We like Tilted Loon Saloon for a good old fashioned beer and burger after a long day spent exercising hard! Take the kids - or yourself - to Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe for a sweet treat. Or, stop for some pizza at Twin Bay Resort.

Reviews
Minnohawk was the perfect location for our group—3 families who take an annual Nordic ski trip together. Plenty of space for all of us, great kitchen for cooking together, lots of fun games in the sports barn, and in decent proximity to some nice ski trails. The house was clean and comfortable. We would stay again!
We packed up Christmas day and headed North, everything couldn't have worked out better. 7 of us (5 kids, one is an adult) were extremely comfortable in the house. The main level, Living room and Kitchen had plenty of room for all of us. The sleeping arrangement was very comfortable, again with plenty of room/rooms. The house is modern and new with all high end appliances and furnishings. The sports barn was the star of the show for us, the kids loved being able to play basketball, bags and pickleball in the warmth of a huge heated (separate from main house) building! The view from the living room windows overlooking the lake are beautiful and we are already planning going back in the summer to enjoy the property in the warmer months.
Communication with Brian was fast and he is super friendly! We AirBnB frequently and this is on the top of our favorites list.
