Sandy’s Beach House in Hayward, WI, is a vacation home located just 10 minutes from downtown shopping and restaurants. This cozy Northwoods cabin offers comfortable accommodations for up to 12 guests, with a private sand beach and fire pit.
This waterfront cottage in northern Wisconsin has a wonderful collection of outdoor amenities, designed to make the most of your vacation at the lake. There is a spacious patio with outdoor dining and lounge chairs, a large grill, and a private boat dock on Lac Courte Oreilles.
Inside, your every need is accounted for with a fully equipped kitchen, a furnished sitting room and additional lounge areas, central air for summer days, an electric fireplace, a large flat-screen TV, wireless internet, and picture windows with a view of the lake.
Sleeping arrangements: This homey Hayward-area cabin rental has three private bedrooms, all located on the main floor near the shared living areas. Two bedrooms have a queen-sized bed in each, while the third has one queen bed and two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds.
Sandy’s Beach House features a convenient circular drive, making it easy to store vehicles, boats and trailers away from the road without having to back in or out.
If you are not traveling with your own watercraft, we offer a 2019 Bennington Pontoon boat with a 90hp motor for an additional charge. Please let us know in advance if you would like to book the boat!
This cabin allows guests to bring along well-behaved dogs. Pets must be approved and a fee in advance.

Sandy’s Beach House enjoys onsite access to Lac Courte Oreilles, with a private dock and included paddle boats. This scenic lake is more than eight miles long, with great fishing and plenty of opportunity for swimming, sailing and other water sports.
There are four marinas nearby on Lac Courte Oreilles that offer pontoon rentals, sail boats, ski boats, jet skis, etc. — you can also find small outboard motors, bait and tackle, and other adventure supplies.
If you are visiting during the winter, Sandy’s Beach House is close to the Chequamegon National Forest, where you can explore more than 140 miles of year-round trails on snowmobiles or ATVs. Several rental companies in the area will even deliver equipment right to the property.
This Hayward cabin rental is also located just nine miles south of the downtown area, and about 140 miles northeast of the Twin Cities. Venture out for dinner on the town, browse the local shops, or hop on the nearby bike trails to visit the casino or wineries.

We enjoyed our stay with our chocolate lab. Sandy's Beach House is comfortable, clean, spacious, and has a great beach. It's close to downtown Hayward, Casino and many other sites in the area.

It was great! Cabin was nice, the view was good and the lake was clear! And time with family!
We spent a long weekend at Sandy's Beach House and it was wonderful. A large space for our family of four and another couple. Could have easily had additional guests. Everything was clean, stocked and communication was great. We had no issues. The beach is a short walk, but the views are still great. We would love to come back again! Thank you!!
Although most people think of Hayward and "Sandy Beach House" as a perfect summer getaway - we have news - it's a winter wonderland as well! Grab your snowmobiles, ATV/UTV, sleds, skis, snowshoes and stay at this amazing rental!
Once again, we had a great time at the house. Weather was nice and family time was fun! Had an issue with the toilet. It kept running after being flushed so Craig came over to look at it/fix it right away. I also let Craig know that there was something wrong with the sofa bed in the living room. It looked as though a piece of wood was going to poke through the fabric on the back of the sofa. He said he would address this also. We'll be back again for more fun next year!!!
This place was absolutely perfect for our golf vacation. Easy to get in and out of and very spacious. Rarely do you find beds so comfortable!
Sandy’s Beach House was a good match for our family of 7 adults, 1 child and one dog. The house was clean and bedding fresh. We had plenty of space for games and visiting.
The trek to the beach is something to consider if you have any physical limitations. But it’s worth it when you get there! The beach is clean and even though it is shared, you have your own sectioned off area and there is no feeling of crowding. The dock is brand new. Thank you, Jon, for the use of the canoe and tow boat, life preservers too! We brought kayaks and enjoy those as well. It was as great to be able to tie up our boat right at the dock. (The boat landing is a short ways away) Jon, thank you for sharing your lake home with us!
We loved Sandy Beach House. The cabin itself was in pristine shape and it was great to have an open concept where we all could be together. The waterfront was beautiful as my kids and nieces and nephews took complete advantage of the shoreline and dock. We loved being only about 2 minutes from the nearest gas station and 8 minutes from Hayward. Little bit farther to the lake than we thought but not a big deal at all.
