Welcome to the Lac Courte Oreilles Chain of Lakes! 4800 acres of water that is designated as Outstanding Resource Waters (1% of lakes are this clean). 25.4 miles of shoreline. Locals TIP: Look for the secret sandbar where boaters like to anchor and swim.
Being under 10 miles from Hayward means you can easily enjoy everything Hayward and Sawyer County has to offer - which is plenty. over 200 kilometers of some of the best cross-country ski trails in the Midwest; 140 miles of ATV trails & 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails (both accessible from the cabin) take you through the Chequamegon National Forest (Trail 31 takes riders across the frozen Lac Court Oreilles); a variety of beautifully manicured golf courses; over 50,000 acres of glacial lakes and rivers teeming with Walleye, crappies, large and smallmouth bass, jumbo perch, musky, and plentiful panfish; six popular self-guided color tours – we told you there’s lots to do :)

Because of the virus we could not celebrate our 40th anniversary, our 65th birthday, or our retirements. The home we rented was sanitized, and very clean. We had the privacy of a large yard, and beach. Our family had a wonderful week of family time. The beds were comfortable,(the sheets were very nice). It is a very nice cabin with a wonderful view! We had a little miscommunication with early check in! Owner is very fast at responding to messages! We had a wonderful vacation at Majestic Retreat. It is a spacious home with lots to do. Our kids enjoyed the lower level with the ping pong table, games, and movies. The beds were comfortable. Lots of pots, pans, dishes and whatever else you would need in the kitchen to prepare a meal. It is very well stocked for a vacation rental. The communication was easy with Manage Cabins. Jon Ballard responded quickly to my emails. They were a pleasure to work with. We rented their pontoon boat which was great. It was so nice to have the boat waiting for us at the pier when we got to the house. This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at this beautiful house. Can't wait to return! Jane R
