The Lake Haus is a three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom cottage that overlooks the stunning waters of Riley’s Bay. Our home accommodates up to 10 guests comfortably! There will be a $20 fee for any additional guests who will be arriving with you. This cottage is nestled in the woods in Sturgeon Bay, which will give you a feel of being on a private island. You will be able to escape your everyday life and finally get the relaxation that you need.
Our fully equipped kitchen is spacious and has plenty of countertop space for you to cook on. We will provide all of the utensils and other amenities that you may need while you stay with us. There is also a fully stocked coffee bar that you are more than welcome to take advantage of!
The main living room area lets in a lot of natural light from the windows making it feel cozy and airy. There is comfortable seating and a wooden fireplace for your comfort. And the half bathroom is located here as well. The second living room which also transforms into the second bedroom has another couch and a flat screen tv.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed with an ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom has a full-size pull-out couch, and a barn door that closes for privacy since it is connected to the second living room space.
Unique Features
The Lake Haus cottage has a spacious outdoor area with a hammock and multiple seating. We also have an adventure shed that you and your friends can enjoy! With items such as kayaks, paddle boards, yard games, life jackets, coolers, a grill, and more! There is also a private outdoor shower that is perfect to use during the warmer months. We even have a renovated game room with a shuffleboard table, a foosball table, and an arcade machine with over 1,000 games!
And the sunroom is available for use too! Imagine yourself having a cup of coffee or breakfast as you sit out and watch the sunrise from the windows, feeling the warmth from the rays.
Things To Do
Here are some recommendations on places that you and your guests can visit during your stay with us! You won’t be disappointed because there are tons of group activities, local events, shops, parks, and restaurants that you can check out.
During the colder months make sure to stop by Cave Point and experience some unbelievable views that will leave you in awe! Make sure you have your cameras ready, there are amazing ice formations along the sides of the rocks! And if you get hungry after viewing there are a few nearby places that you can eat at before heading back to our cabin. Mike’s Port Pub & Grill is a good one! They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.
Sturgeon Bay is a great place to go ice fishing if you’re looking to go fishing during the winter. We recommend you have a guide with you so that the only thing that you have to worry about is dressing warm!
Peninsula State Park is a great destination that offers an 18-hole golf course, a lighthouse, an area for overnight camping, a large beach, bike trails, hiking, and more! It’s even fun to visit during the winter months to enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and sledding!

Situated right on the lake, this property provided great options for adventure and relaxation. It was perfect. We had all the games and accessories we needed for a great time both indoors and out!!! We rode bikes, made s'mores, played games, watched movies and we did it all without having to go anywhere!
