Cara’s Cabin is a secluded one-bedroom, one-bathroom log cabin that can sleep up to four guests. This cabin is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway trip with your partner or a well-deserved solo trip to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our cabin has an open floor plan, which gives off a cozier feel, and bonus, everything you need is only a few steps away!
The kitchen area has enough countertop space for you or your guest to prepare meals on and there are two open windows that you gaze out of while you are cooking or eating. Our kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cups, plates, and more! There is a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, oven, and refrigerator located in the kitchen as well. We set up two bar stools in the kitchen for you to sit at and enjoy the meals!
The living room area is snug and romantic, with a cozy full-size futon couch, a flat screen tv, and a gas fireplace.
The bedroom area has an overhead fan, a queen-sized bed, and plenty of room for you to store your luggage. We also provide all of the fresh linens, quilts, and pillows for the bed. There is also a full bathroom in the cabin.
Our log cabin located in Ephraim has a special seating area outside that you or you and your guests can enjoy while you sip your morning coffee or watch the sunrise. It’s also the perfect spot for a romantic evening dinner under the stars. We also have a private driveway for your convenience as well! Think of our cabin as your own little oasis.
Take a break from your busy life and escape to a place that is meant for relaxation. You and your guests will surely have a fun time here, making memories and exploring what Ephraim has to offer!
There are tons of activities near our cabin, which will be convenient for you and your guests! If you are a sucker for tours or just love exploring different towns, cities, or villages, the Door County Trolly will be the perfect thing to add to your list! You will be able to choose from over 15 different Trolley tours, everything ranging from wine tours, scenic tours, ghost tours, lighthouse tours, and many more!
If you want to rent out a bicycle or moped to create your own exploration, check out Edge of Park Rentals. The staff there will ensure that you and your guests will know about all of the right spots that will set your adventure in motion! The Sunset Bike Trail is one of many other trails that you will enjoy! The views are truly breathtaking and you will not be disappointed.
Make sure to head over to Wilson’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor to indulge in delicious cuisine and then cool yourself off with some classic ice cream desserts.
After a long day of adventures, sightseeing, and fun, it’s always nice to wind down and do something more relaxed. We recommend going over to the Skyway Drive-In Theatre to enjoy all of Hollywood’s latest films. It’s also ranked the number one drive-in in America by TripAdvisor.

The property was conveniently located just a short drive to Sister Bay, and within walking distance to downtown Ephraim. The property was cozy and had everything you could need during your stay. We utilized the bikes to get us downtown Ephraim (3min) and enjoyed spending our mornings on the back deck. We will be back! Loryn S

Cara’s cabin is in a cute and quaint area perfectly located with Ephraim and Sister Bay just down the road either way. We had a great weekend retreat and our pup loved the balcony and wooded Door County Land Trust. Super close to Peninsula State Park. Cara’s cabin is small but incredibly cozy, comfortable and surprisingly has everything you need for its size. We especially loved the handy little guide provided with the restaurant recommendations. Would recommend a stop in fish creek for the winery and cherry goods. Thanks so much for the hospitality, we will come back again! Tiffany W
