Adventure cottage is a three-bedroom, one-bathroom rental that is located right on Sand Bay Point with an amazing water-front view of the shores of Sand Bay. Our cottage has an open layout plan, which will give you and your guests plenty of room to roam around. In addition to having a beach house feel, we also wanted our cottage to feel like a home away from home. The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests, making it ideal for smaller or mid-size groups.
Our fully equipped kitchen is very spacious with a separate bar top to make yummy meals on! We provide all utensils and other basic essentials that you may need during your stay with us! The kitchen comes with a kettle, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and toaster. Next to the kitchen, there is a dining room table with six chairs and a highchair for any babies and or toddlers.
The living room area has a comfortable sleeper sofa, a fireplace, and a mounted flat screen tv.
The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two gorgeous windows that face the water, a dresser for your personal belongings, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a dresser, two windows, and a flat-screen tv. The third bedroom has double bunk beds side by side. Towels and washcloths will be sitting on each bed upon your arrival. The bathroom is full-size as well!
Our cottage has plenty of outdoor space that you and your guests can enjoy! We also have an outdoor patio that is perfect for sitting out and enjoying your breakfast in the mornings as you watch the sunrise or having a glass of wine at night as you listen to the sound of the waves. You will also have access to the Adventure Shed---inside you’ll find bikes, kayaks, life jackets, washer board games, and more!
You can even sit out on our lawn chairs by the fire-pit in the evenings and enjoy some s'mores and relaxation.
You can enjoy so many incredible adventures in Sturgeon Bay, and our Cottage is the perfect location to stay in! We are close to many restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, and more! Surgeon bay isn’t a big city, but it has charm, beauty, and unlimited activities that you and your guests will enjoy!
If you are the kind of person who loves being outdoors and submerging themselves in nature, check out Whitefish Dunes State Park. Not only will you experience some breathtaking views, but you will be able to take long strolls near Lake Michigan, view extraordinary waterfalls, go fishing, attend ecology exhibitions/historical events, and hike some of the best trails! The possibilities are truly endless at this Park!
Come and experience a world of color at The Garden Door! It is truly the perfect place to visit during the springtime when all of the flowers are in bloom! Here it offers a children’s play area, a small fairy garden, a koi pond, a memorial tunnel, and more! All ages will have the best time at The Garden Door.
Live and entertaining performances are held at The Third Avenue Playhouse. Here you and your guests will be able to expose yourself to powerful and intriguing creative storytelling through the lenses of our local talent!

You can’t beat the great location of this cabin - and it certainly lives up to its name as an adventure camp! We had a great time hiking and exploring Door County - the fall colors were amazing!

We enjoyed our stay at the Adventure Cottage. We had 4 adults and had plenty of space for comfortable sleeping. (One bathroom is available in the cottage so it’s good to be mindful if there is a larger group.) The views of the lake were wonderful for sunrises and sunsets. Adventure Cottage thought of everything for people and dogs. We enjoyed having my extended family at the cottage for the day Sunday where we ate outside, everyone got to enjoy playing on and in the water, and we finished with s'mores around the fire. The rest of the week was more low key with a couple other relatives staying with us. Once again, we loved the place. Adventure Cottage is always so clean and offers a few sleeping options for relatives. And the Adventure Shed is what seals the deal - so much entertainment right there. We went out on kayaks multiple days and enjoyed a tandem bike. All the equipment is right there (including life vests and bike helmets in all sizes). So relatives can show up at any time instead of arranging a time for everyone to arrive so we can make a trip to the lake. Thanks again for your hospitality! Sheryl H
