Cabin Five at Kingfisher Resorts offers a clean and comfortable experience for visitors who enjoy being out on the water but also want a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day! Located on the banks of Ten Mile Lake, Cabin Five is accessible via a wheelchair ramp. It is well lit by the many windows when you walk inside, and it has everything you need to make your stay feel as much like home as possible:
The vacation home includes a fully equipped kitchen that includes a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, and coffee maker. There are also a variety of cooking and dining utensils, so you can cook something you caught out on the lake or prepare a meal from the grocery store without having to worry about bringing anything with you from home. In the living area, there is a TV, and we also have free WiFi.
Although you must bring your own pillows, towels, and linens to stay at Kingfisher Resorts, the cabin does provide mattresses for visitors. This vacation home sleeps a total of four people. There are two bedrooms, each containing a full bed. There is also a futon in the living room.
Visitors to Cabin Five have access, through Kingfisher Resorts, to a variety of outdoor amenities as one of the cabin’s features. These include free use of the resort’s kayaks, paddle boat, and row boats, as well as free use of the resort’s firewood when it is available. With picnic areas on the lawn outside and additional boat rentals available, this vacation home should provide everything you need for an enjoyable time outdoors.
The Chetek area has a variety of activities that visitors looking to be out and about can participate in; no matter your interests, there should be something for you. There are opportunities for hiking, golfing, fishing, and boating In addition, there are plenty of opportunities for more indoor pursuits: Tourists can also go bowling or head to one of several museums: The Pioneer Village Museum - set up as a village in the late 1800’s - give visitors the chance to experience a historical point in time through educational activities while also learning more about the local area. If you’re a movie person, you have to spend an evening at Star Dust, the drive-in theater and restaurant area. Some great dining options include Caddy Shack Bar & Grill and Chetek Cafe Meats. There are also plenty of fast food favorites in the area.
Chetek also has a variety of unique and interesting stores to go shopping. Elly’s Sheared Sheep is a local fabric shop for craft enthusiasts. There is also the bookshop, Annz Books & More. There are also several bait and tackle shops if you left some of your gear at home - or just want to buy some more.

Our resort runs Saturday to Saturday. 4 night minimum. We will consider 3 nights if it's a last-minute request and we have availability.
No extra visitors/guests without checking in and paying the fee. This goes for all cabin and all RV areas.

$75 for the week stay for cabin visitors/guests.
$20 for a day pass. 7 a.m.to 10 p.m.
No rentals for anyone under 21 years of age. No Drinking Alcohol unless you are 21 years of age or above. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without warning. There is a $75 charge for each dog per week (1 day or 7 days) per cabin. Quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am. Thank you!

This small, family-owned resort is the perfect place to stay overnight if you want to get out on the water and enjoy a great fishing or boating experience. With seven cabins, seven RV sites, boat docks, boat rentals, and more, we have all you need if you are interested in fishing, boating, swimming, or, of course, just spending time in the sun. Visitors to cabin 4 also have the opportunity to stay during the winter months and spend time ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or more!
The Kingfisher Resort name has been around for 75 years as of 2022, and this particular set of cabins was purchased in 2020. We know what it means to run a successful business and spend a lot of time out on the water - fishing or boating - ourselves. Visitors who need anything during their stay are welcome to ask.
