Head to this wonderful resort near Tenmile Lake and find yourself in a small haven for fishing and fun. Outside, you will find opportunities for plenty of fun in the water. There are four rowboats, a paddle boat, and two kayaks available for free use by those staying at the resort. There is also free firewood most of the time, allowing for the perfect opportunity to spend a smoky night out under the stars. Finally, Cabin 2 is right beside the dock, so you barely have to step outside the house to get in the water and go for a swim.
Cabin two has a deck outside facing the lake, the perfect place to sit and have your coffee in the morning, watching the sky wake up. Inside, with wood paneled walls and many windows, there is a fully equipped kitchen complete with a freezer and refrigerator, microwave, utensils, and many other tools you may need to prepare a great dinner. There is also WiFi. Those who choose to pay can also have heating and air.
This cabin sleeps a total of two, with one full bed. There is also a bathroom and shower area.
One great perk of staying at this cabin during your next fishing trip is that you don’t have to deal with cleaning the fish in your own kitchen. There is a fish cleaning house dedicated for this purpose, so your experience at your cabin rental can feel clean and fish-free. Just make sure to clean the house after using it!
Visitors to this cabin will have many fun ways of occupying their time outside, from boating to fishing and swimming. If you get bored of the lake life, however, there is plenty to do in Chetek, Wisconsin! On Sundays, there are multiple churches you can attend if you choose. There is also a local library with plenty of reading options.
With bowling, several golf courses, and parks to head to during the day, you should also be able to have a fun couple of days out and about, if you choose. Visitors should check out Valkyrie Brewery for drinks in the evening, or spend the day at the Pioneer Village Museum: an 1800’s town kept up for educational purposes, with fun events and activities for people of all ages throughout the day. Another great museum choice is the Chetek Area Museum, which gives specific information about the history of the area, from its initial settlement by Native Americans to its involvement in the tourist and lumber industries.
Those interested in watching some excellent water skiing should check out the Chetek Hydroflites. Finally, the Stardust Drive-In Movie Theater also includes a restaurant and is a great retro evening experience. We hope to see you soon in Chetek!

The Kingfisher Resort name has been around for 75 years as of 2022, and this particular set of cabins was purchased in 2020. We know what it means to run a successful business and spend a lot of time out on the water - fishing or boating - ourselves. Visitors who need anything during their stay are welcome to ask.
