In the case of this specific vacation home, Stormy Pines is located on Pickerel Lake, with a dock that reaches out into the water and where visitors can sit and dangle their feet in or dive off for a long swim - whichever suits you best.
Inside, you will find wood-paneled walls, comfortable furniture, and a wood-burning fireplace; there is nothing quite like warmth and the smell of woodsmoke as you finish out a long day with friends or family over a homemade meal. The kitchen should have all basic amenities that you will need to prepare what you want. These include a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer, toaster, and oven and stove. While there are many great eateries in the Eagle River area, if you are someone who prefers to make your own food, you should be all set!
The vacation home has one king-sized bed and two queens. There are also two bathrooms; the home comfortably sleeps a total of six people.
Unique Features
Another great feature that this vacation home away from home offers is a charcoal grill that visitors can use at their discretion. Great for making burgers or supplementing those hot dogs roasted over the fire pit (You can only cook them so fast, especially when you have spent the day swimming on the lake!) it adds to your cooking options and to the feeling of being on a fun holiday.

There are also a variety of hiking trails that range in difficulty level from being appropriate for the newest of hikers to those that will allow those whose fitness levels are higher to get a workout in.
Because Wisconsin produces over half of the cranberries in the world, our annual Cranberry Fest has quite the turnout. Even those who are not huge fans of the small, red fruit can come and enjoy the music and other festival attractions in the fall. If you’re here in March, you could also check out Mules up North - a mixed drink competition between bartenders.
Regardless of how you spend your days when you are here, you can be sure to have a variety of ways to end them with delicious meals in the Eagle River area. Eddie B’s White Spruce Restaurant and Tavern is a great choice for well made comfort food such as smoked ribs and Friday fish fry. For lunch, check out Hillbilly Hollow, LLC for great sandwiches. Then, go to Mary Kate’s Wine Bar for a night out with good drinks with friends.
