This vacation rental truly offers the best of both worlds: Pristine lakeside views and greenery, but with modern appliances indoors to ensure that you are able to kick back and relax at your home away from home. Settle into the plush couches in the wood paneled living room with a good book, or whip up a good, hearty meal in the kitchen after a long day’s hike: Kitchen amenities include but are not limited to a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, and microwave. You can also prepare a meal on the charcoal grill outside.
The vacation home also includes a fire pit between the house and the lake. It’s the perfect spot for roasting s’mores or simply warming your hands before the fires when you’re not quite ready to go inside yet. In the morning, head out onto the deck with a cup of hot coffee to start your day and watch the world wake up.
The vacation home sleeps six. There are three queen beds and one twin. There are also three bathrooms. With its size and all of the opportunities it offers, the cabin is perfect for a small family vacation on the lake.
Of course, the dock in this vacation home may be its best feature, meandering down from the house and spilling out into the water. It is the perfect place to sit and catch fish in the summer, or to walk out on the planks over the ice in colder months, where you can see the world transformed into a winter wonderland. If you’re here in the fall, you’re really missing out if you don’t take the chance to go apple picking. With several different orchards in the area to choose from, you can head to Berryland Farm, Helene’s Hilltop Orchard, Silver Creek Orchards, and more! Eat the freshly picked apples or take them back to the vacation home. There, take your time to turn them into tarts, pies, jellies, and more!
If apple picking isn’t your thing - or if you aren’t fortunate enough to be here in the fall - you should check out one of our many wineries and vineyards for a peaceful afternoon spent tasting some of the best beverages in the area. Or, try out one of the many other fun and relaxing activities the area has to offer: farmer’s markets, food truck festivals, live theater, and, of course, more local parks and nature trails than we can name! We’re looking forward to having you, and we know that you will find some interesting ways to occupy your time no matter your interests or how long you plan on being here.

The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything you would need to cook all week. They thought of everything. Loved the view and fire pit below. We had a boat and jet ski and had no problem parking both on the new large pier. Also, the lake was adequate for water sports. The only thing we didn’t find was a sand bar for our dogs.There may have been one, but it didn’t stand out. We would highly recommend this vacation home.
