Knotty Pines vacation home provides a spacious, pleasing environment designed for relaxation during any season. The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom lakefront vacation home is located on 326-acre Found Lake only 4.5 miles from St. Germain. The lake is known for its abundance of panfish, bass, musky, northerns, and walleyes. A gently sloping sandy bottom makes it a great place for kids to swim. A complimentary rowboat and pier gets you out on the lake to put “fresh catch of the day” on your dining menu.
Located on the southern shore, the home was recently modeled with an updated kitchen and beautiful sunroom off the living room complete with stunning views of the lake and wildlife. Relax on the expansive upstairs deck with breakfast and take in the surrounding views of the forest and water. The home’s interior features pine paneling and stone work, a flat screen TV with DirecTV in the living room, and rustic lodge decor. The walk-out lower level features a large recreational room with comfortable couches, a w bar, TV/DVD, and table/chairs perfect for a game night.
The updated, modern kitchen features stainless steel refrigerator/ice maker, stainless steel oven, electric cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, coffee-maker, silverware, plates, cooking pots, and utensils. A washer/dryer is located in the lower level. The dining room table seats 4 with additional seating for three at the breakfast bar, and patio furniture on the deck and on the lower level outside.
Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 - queen bed: Bedroom 2: queen bed; Bedroom 3 - twin beds; additional futon in sunroom.
The bright and spacious downstairs recreation room creates its own family retreat area with comfortable couches, a bar, TV/DirectTV connection, wood burning stove, game table and chairs, and a walkout to the outside patio with its cute log swing. Trophy fish and deer mountings and wildlife artwork
mounted on the walls get you imagining your own prized catch.
Majestic conifer and evergreen trees surround you in this fabulous home with its grassed lawn area down to the pier on the lakefront. Bring your croquet, bocci ball or badminton set because this is the perfect place to set up a family game of fun. A basketball hoop near the driveway/garage creates another sporting option for all ages, so bring along your basketball too. Dog’s are allowed for a fee, and your’s will enjoy it!
Bring your fishing gear so you can fish from the pier and the complimentary rowboat. Guests can also rent an outboard motor, fishing boat, pontoon boat, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards through Hiller Vacation Homes. A public boat launch area is nearby to launch your own watercraft.
Venture out to the Minocqua Brewing Company in Minocqua, the Rocky Reef Brewing Company in Woodruff, or the Tribute Brewing Company in Eagle River, for microbrewery samples. Bring back your favorite local beer to stock the rec room bar.
