Casa de Oso is a cozy, comfortable cabin equipped with everything you might need to make your stay a success! Outside, the deck area has a charcoal grill and outdoor seating, the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning or cook a nice meal at night. Inside, the cabin is decorated with both wood paneled and painted walls, big windows, and a sloping ceiling. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and more. In the living room, use the cozy seating to relax after a long day or pull out the futon to accommodate extra guests. There is also A/C and heat, as well as ceiling fans, to ensure that you will be comfortable no matter what time of the year you choose to come.
This vacation home sleeps a total of about six people and is great for a family with small children. There is a bathroom with a shower to wash off after a day of hiking in the woods or swimming in the lake. The loft area is also fully carpeted and, with enough blankets, can accommodate extra (younger) guests.
As a unique feature, this cabin has a carpeted loft area that is 4.5 feet high and overlooks the living area of the cabin. With windows to brighten the area and a barrier to prevent anyone from falling onto the floor below, it feels like a “camp” area and has two single air mattresses so is a great place for kids to sleep on sleeping bags brought from home.
This cabin includes a private yard, and the resort itself involves access to a variety of outdoor amenities. These include a boat dock that goes out onto the lake. Visitors can also go fishing or swimming on the lake. There is also a community fire pit, and The Lodge Bar and Grill is a great restaurant on site.
If visitors wish to leave the property, they have many outdoor recreation and dining opportunities available to them. The Hayward Lakes Area includes trails and recreation spots for hikers, bikers, ATV lovers, fishing, and more! Hayward is the Golf Capital of Wisconsin, and excellent options include Hayward Golf Club and Spider Lake Golf Resort, among many. For drinks (or just a really good coffee) visit The Whistle Punk. For dining, options are many and varied. Tally Ho, The Tavern at White Stag, Louie's Landing and The Chippewa Tavern are a few recommended "off premise" restaurants near by.

Stayed for 5 nights and had a great time!! The sites we had were a great size for our group and not far from the water. The owners were awesome too, my son kept Terry plenty busy with his fish questions. Marissa 'Jaskierny' Accola

Had a great 4-night stay here. Site was large enough for our 36' 5th wheel and long bed truck, plus room for an EZ up and sitting around the fire. Had a few drinks at the lodge and Terry and Michelle were great hosts! Deb Sadler Bertling
