Bartel’s Beach Cottage is a beautiful, 1,200-square-foot vacation home with room for eight-10 guests in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. The cottage has been newly renovated with hardwood floors. Vaulted ceilings and large windows on the lake-facing side offer great views and a relaxing sense of space.
Bartel’s Beach Cottage has a large living room, a family-style dining room and a fully equipped, modern kitchen. The living room includes a fireplace, and the kitchen has new appliances and lovely granite countertops. Cozy sitting areas are set up around the perimeter of the living area to take advantage of 180 degrees of great views.
Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom at Bartel’s Beach Cottage is furnished with a queen-sized bed, while the second guest room has two sets of twin-sized bunk beds. There is also two sleeper sofas in the living room. All bed linens are provided, as are bath and kitchen towels.

Much of the recreation in the Lake Mills, WI, area — for locals and visitors alike — revolves around Rock Lake. Popular activities include fishing and boating, sailing, canoeing and kayaking, tubing, skiing and swimming — not to mention picnics by the waterside and sunning on the clean, sandy public beaches.
As great as the summer days are on Rock Lake, don’t let the snow or colder weather keep you inside. Lake Mills is a great place for winter sports, with excellent ice fishing, outdoor ice skating, and nearby trails for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
Bartel’s Beach Cottage is located just a short distance away from the Glacial Drumlin Bike Trail, Aztalan State Park, and the Lake Mills Golf Course. Other favorite attractions include a variety of antique shops and some unique local restaurants. This vacation home is only nine miles away from the Johnson Creek Outlet Mall and Star Cinema.

Weekly rates at Bartel’s Beach Cottage run $1,500/week during peak season and $1075/week during the off seasons. Additional charges may apply during holiday weeks.
The cottage is available on a nightly basis at a rate of $250/night except during the peak season. A MINIMUM STAY OF THREE NIGHTS IS REQUIRED.
A security deposit of $250 is required to reserve the cottage. The full balance is due three weeks prior to the arrival date.
Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Check-in starts at 3:00 pm with check-out scheduled for 10:00 am.
Cancellations made a minimum of 60 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 60 days of the arrival date will receive a refund (less a cancellation fee) only if the cottage is able to be rebooked.
